The Inspire Play Jamboree, in collaboration with Playworks, will take place on Saturday, June 14 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Neiman Sports Complex in Bloomington, Minnesota. This event is designed to underscore the critical role of play in child development during the 2025 PLAY BALL! Weekend.

The Inspire Play Jamboree will demonstrate how play fosters physical activity and cultivates essential social and emotional skills that are transferable to academic, professional, and personal environments. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of sports and recreational activities, emphasizing the joy and benefits of active participation.

The event will feature:

• Playworks: Playworks Minnesota coaches will facilitate classic recess games, including jump rope, hopscotch, hula hoops, four square, and tee-ball/whiffle ball, specifically tailored for children aged 4-8.
• Special Appearances: Beloved mascots TC Bear and Muddonna will make appearances, adding to the event's excitement.
• Open Participation: Attendees are invited to join in the games and activities at any time throughout the event.
• Focus on Tee-Ball: A significant portion of the event will be dedicated to tee-ball, encouraging young participants to engage in this foundational sport. Participants are encouraged to bring their own gloves, though equipment will be provided.

Playworks, a national non-profit organization, partners with elementary schools nationwide to promote active and inclusive play throughout the school day. The Inspire Play Jamboree will exemplify Playworks' mission by creating a vibrant and engaging environment filled with diverse games and activities. Playworks is a national non-profit leveraging the power of play to transform children’s social and emotional health by providing play and physical activity to schools across the country.
